Met Expectations

Good location for visiting many attractions, comfortable room on high floor. Helpful friendly, multilingual staff and well maintained hotel - we would stay again.

Dining facilities appeared to suit the business traveller more than the tourist. Breakfast appeared expensive at W36000 each, and evening meal atmosphere was lacking, although the staff were attentive. The panorama bar on 16F serves drinks and snacks, but doesn't have many indoor tables.

THE STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WERE VERY WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY IN AN EXCEPTIONAL WAY!! THE LOCATION IS VERY GOOD NEAR MYEONGDONG, NAMDAEMUN GATE AND MARKET THE ROOM WE STAYED IN WAS VERY CLEAN , BIG AND WELL EQUIPPED AND INCLUDED A KITCHEN.

The location is excellent, as it is in close proximity to Namdaemun Market, making it incredibly convenient for exploring and immersing yourself in the local market scene. Additionally, the nearby subway station adds to the convenience of this location. Moreover, the hotel staff at the front desk are exceptionally friendly and helpful, even when you check in late at night.

The air conditioner is quite noisy, which can be quite bothersome, especially since it is positioned directly above the bed. When taking the shower, the water pressure is not strong enough.

Overall we had a good stay. But I would probably think twice about returning for reasons mentioned.

I liked the location although it got scary when we heard the demonstration noises outside. It would have been good if the staff could have been more informative about why the local people were demonstrating late at night. Staff was good about letting us know about the rust coming out from the hot water faucets and the fumigation time. Though we started to worry about bed bug infestation. I also liked that hotel staff helped arrange kakao taxi to the airport and helped with our luggage.

I didn’t like that the front desk was not informative about the difference in paying in Korean won versus in U.S. dollars for the hotel bill. I didn’t know there was a 3% mark up. It would have been nice to have saved money given the travel expenses. I’d like to suggest a self washing, dryer room for laundry services to make this hotel more favorable to stay in.

Wonderful

Great location and clean room. Kitchen and washing machine with dryer very useful. Bedroom could be partitioned off to create a dark space for our baby to sleep in and they prepared a nice playpen/cot for us.

The hotel is just one bus or subway stop from Seoul station which is the main transport hub. Close to lines 1 and 4, as well to AREX Airport train.

Located conveniently to buses and train. Comfortable bed and bedding.

Nothing I don’t like about the hotel. Suggest: to add an extra electrical outlet by or in between the beds, it would be more convenient. Housekeeping: Corner area by the luggage rack had a lot of dust which meant, this area had been missed during cleaning. My black pants fell onto that area and picked up all the dust.

A nice place to stay

The area is quite close to establishments - restaurants, banks, etc. The bed was good. The staff was ok. The decor in the lobby was beautiful. The free transport to the train station and to other Fraser Place.

The room is just enough for us.

Next time we would choose a room at the back

The staff at the reception spoke very good English, and was very helpful. We chose this hotel due to the availability of rooms with two beds, proximity to airport bus stations (no 6015), and walking distance to some of the main attractions. We booked a Premier Twin Room with a living room and a kitchenette, providing a lot of very comfortable space. Beds were very comfortable too. The restaurant on the first floor offered a quite rich BBQ dinner (one portion fed both of us), and at a very reasonable price.

All rooms in this category face Sejong Street, where loud political demonstrations take place on (most?) weekends. The one we experienced ended at 8pm, but the (normal) street noise remained audible throughout the night. During our three weeks in South Korea we stayed at 8 different hotels. Breakfast at this hotel offered the smallest selection of dishes, and at a comparatively high price. As in the other hotels, some cold cuts and cheese were offered, but here they were cut into just a few and very small pieces, so that hardly anyone dared to destroy these "works of art".

Comfortable, clean with responsive and pleasant staff.

Great location. The room was very spacious but a bit austere. It was always clean. The 16th floor bar was a great space with a fabulous view, albeit a tad hot on the terrace but hey it was summer.

The food in the restaurant wasn’t great. The wine I ordered had been open too long but they changed it to a freshly opened bottle immediately I let them know. The nuts that were provided with the drink were not fresh on two occasions. Not a big issue, in hindsight I should have let them know so they were aware of it.

Very good hotel with great service, highly attentive staff, and tasty korean, continental and English breakfast. With a bus stop right in front of the hotel and underground stations just a few steps away, it is perfectly located to explore Seoul. We had a pleasant stay and would choose this hotel again.

Amazing Hotel, Will Definitely be coming back!

What's not to like? Honestly, the double deluxe room was amazing, huge and spacious. Amazing amenities. Comfortable bed, beautiful views. The bathroom was gorgeous, the bidet was comfortable. The ac/heater was easy to control. A lot of automated controls in the bedroom also to avoid getting up to turn off all the lights. Amazing and helpful staff! Front desk staff really added to our experience when calling for taxi's or just accommodating to little asks like an iron etc. The room was constantly cleaned with the sweetest cleaning staff. The restaurants and rooftop bar were beautiful. The location was great, more in the business area, but close to both myeongdong and itaewon, bang in the middle when taking trains or taxi's. It's also close to a lot of attractions e.g. N tower. It felt very safe and comfortable. It also smelled amazing as soon as you walk into the lobby. I would 1000% revisit this hotel!!

The location is more in a business district so is a bit quieter and more secluded than other areas which is lovely after a day of shopping. You will have to travel a bit to the more 'fun' streets but in a cab it's about 5 - 10 mins (very affordable) and 15-20 in the train so not really an issue. Also the TV doesn't really have any English speaking channels like that so bring your laptop!
